The ICU received the following invite which is open to any of the ladies attending the meetings held every two weeks in Stephen's Green Hibernian Club.

Having discussed this with Ray Mooney, it is my pleasure to extend an invitation to all the members of the Women’s Chess Club to attend our annual Ladies Gala Dinner on Friday, 3rd March in recognition of International Women’s Day. Attached please find a copy of the flyer for the occasion.

Our guest speaker this year is Emily O’Reilly – broadcaster, journalist, Irish’s first female Ombudsman and the current European Ombudsman. We are very excited to have such a prominent speaker and no doubt she will appeal to a broad spectrum of our members and guests. Tickets are priced at € 55 to include a cocktail on arrival, four course dinner and half bottle of wine per person. The dress code is Evening, formal attire.
