External Links

The ICU is not responsible for the content of external websites. We do not produce them, we cannot change them and they may change without our knowledge. If users discover links to external sites whose relevance or suitability has become questionable, they are encouraged to bring them to the attention of our editors.

We select links based on their relevance to our users, Irish chess players. For example:

• information about forthcoming events (mostly in Ireland)
• general chess related sites (not just in Ireland)
• businesses where chess products are for sale

We don't accept any payments for advertising chess product sites and those few that we choose to link to are only those that we feel are of direct interest to our users, such as chess businesses operating in Ireland.

Icu.ie does not engage in reciprocal linking. If we judge a site is interesting we will link to it whether or not the other site links back to us.
