Forgotten Password

We now only store encrypted passwords in our database which is more secure than the plain text passwords we used to store but, unfortunately, means there is no longer any way to recover forgotten passwords. If you've really forgotten your password, here are your options:

Ask for your password to be reset
Send an email to admin@icu.ie requesting that the password for your existing account be reset. Include your ICU number and your login email. After you login with the new password assigned, you will have the option of changing it to something else using the Change Password facility.
Create another account
There's no rule that says you can't have more than one login to the ICU site, but you do need an alternative email address for this option to work. Use your other email to Register another account, using your ICU and PIN numbers but this time choose a password that you're less likely to forget (but is still hard for others to guess). You'll still have to go through the usual email verification process, so make sure you have access to the email account.

If you are prone to forget passwords you might like to invest in a password manager.
