Minutes of last years meeting were read out and passed.

Officers Reports

These can be found on the ICU website. All presented, were accepted.

Motions

• Jack Hennigan, Frank Scott and Gerry Murphy were made ICU Honourary Life members.
• That the position of Women's Officer be created on the ICU Executive – PASSED.
• That the ICU AGM should reverse last year's decision (re Olympiad selections) - FAILED.
• That all ICU games must be played to a finish in one sitting – PASSED.
• Re proposal to remove requirement for Juniors to play in Irish Junior Championships - FAILED.
• Re proposal that either playing Irish Championships or Junior event was adequate - PASSED.
• Re proposal that Irish Championships be an Open, with title conferment - PASSED.
• J. Healy's motion re Irish Championships format was not taken as he was not present.
• J. Healy's motion re paying 3 IMs in Irish Championships was not taken because of absence.

Elections

The only election was that for Chairperson, between Gaye Martin and Philip Hogarty. Philip Hogarty won.
