Free Simultaneous Chess exhibitions by GM Alex Baburin
6 Jul – 18 Aug 2024
This summer GM Alex Baburin will give a number of free simultaneous-play chess exhibitions. The next one will take place on the 7th of July (Sat) in Sandymount Green from 13:00 to 16:00. If you want to play, come at least 30 minutes before the exhibition begins.
GM Alex Baburin's August Chess camp
12–16 Aug 2024
Students will learn about the history of chess, chess tactics and strategy and study games of famous players. Participants will take part in a camp championship with prizes (trophies, chess books and medals). Students can attend the camp for any number of days. Complete beginners are welcome to join.
GM Alex Baburin's August Online Chess camp
19–23 Aug 2024
During the camp we will examine instructive games and key chess strategies. Students will play in a 3-day camp championship with prizes (chess books and medals), as well as solving puzzles and playing training exercises with a sparring partner. Students can attend the camp for any number of days. Complete beginners are welcome to join.
