The All Ireland schools championships was contested on Saturday, April 24th in Gonzaga College, Dublin. Turnout was lower than previous years with only two Ulster teams and one Munster team willing to make the trip, but all three sections were hotly contested.

There was also a change in format this year with the competition being held over a single day. We hope to return to a two-day format next year.

The results were:

• U16: 1. Gonzaga 2. CBC Cork 3. Pres Bray 4. St. Patrick's Downpatrick
• U14: 1. St. Benildus 2. Harold Boys Dalkey 3. Methodist College Belfast
