This year the Glorney, Jessie Gilbert, Bernadette Stokes and John Robinson Cup tournament with teams from England (hosts), Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be held in the Barcelo Hotel, Daventry, Northamptonshire from the 17th to 21st July. The Irish team members will be selected on or just after the 1st June based on the mid-May rating list teams, and will comprise the following:

• Glorney Cup - team of 5 players under 18 years of age
• Jessie Gilbert Cup - team of 3 girls under 18 years of age
• Bernadette Stokes Cup - team of 6 players under 14 years of age
• John Robinson Cup - team of 6 players under 12 years of age

The ICU will be providing a coaching service to assist potential candidates in their preparations for the tournament. The coaching will be provided by Mark Quinn IM (U18); David Fitzsimons (U14); Darko Polimac (U12); and Karl Mc Phillips (U18 girls). Additional non-ICU sponsored coaching can be availed of from private ICU approved coaches.

Based on the current January 2012 rating list, the following players in order of strength per age group are eligible to receive this ICU arranged coaching. If between now and the May rating list there are individual players with ratings bringing them into contention for places on the teams then they will be notified by the ICU and the coaching extended to them.
