MTU Chess Society proudly presents Rapid Royale on 7th March, from 10:30 PM to 15:30 PM at the MTU Bishopstown Campus, Student Centre (Eircode: T12 P928).

This year, Rapid Royale will host two tournaments side by side: FIDE-Rated and Non-FIDE, both featuring:

• 8 rounds of rapid chess
• Time control: 10 minutes + 2 seconds increment per move

Official FIDE rules will be followed for the FIDE tournament; standard rules apply for the Non-FIDE tournament

Anyone looking to enter the FIDE-Rated Tournament will need a ICU membership or an international equivalent, Anyone with an official rapid FIDE is prohibited from entering the Non-FIDE tournament
