Format

• The quads (groups of four) are determined based on the initial ranking:
  • the closest ratings form a quad from top to bottom (Start ranks 1-4 the first, 5-8 the second, etc.)
  • they play a 3 rounds round robin (all-play-all)
  • if a group has fewer than 4 players, they will form a joint tournament with the last quad and play specific formats (Swiss, Group, or Scheveningen based on numbers).
• 60+30s Time control - FIDE rated.
• Prize fund: €60 for each quad winners

Schedule

• Late Registration and check-in by 10:00am
• Determining groups and draw 10:05am (considering forbidden pairings on requests, and using the Berger tables)
• Round 1 as soon as possible
• Round 2: 1.30pm (or 20 minutes after Round 1)
• Round 3: 5pm (or 20 minutes after Round 2)
