# Black was slightly worse for the first 30 moves, but then my opponent went for the dubious plan (to bring the queen to b2) and Black felt comfortable. In the present position both opponents were approaching time trouble and I quickly played 36...  Kf8?? being sure that Black wins a pawn. In fact I overestimated my chances, because objectively the position is equal. ( After the correct 36... h6 37. Ne3 ( or 37. f4 Nd7 = ) 37... Qxh4+ 38. Rh3 Qg5 39. Rg3 Qf4 40. Rf3 the game ends in a draw by repetition. ) 37. Rg5 And now I realized that my last move was just a blunder: after the planned 37...Qe2 is answered with 38.Ng3, not only protecting the rook, but catching the black queen. So before resigning I made few more moves: 37...  gxf5 38. Rxh5 Nxh5 39. exf5 Ree8 40. Qd2 1-0
