The ICU sent no fewer than six teams abroad at the beginning of August to battle for Ireland in international competitions: two adult teams (open and women) went to the Olympiad in Norway (1-14 August), and four junior teams (U18, girls U18, U14, U12) to the Glorney-Gilbert International in Scotland (4–6 August).
