The 2015 Drogheda congress took place as usual over the June bank holiday weekend and attracted a good number of players considering the unfortunate timing of the Slane concert which had such a negative impact on accommodation options for participants. Nevertheless numbers were only slightly down on last year, but still up on previous years.
A report on the event is available at the Drogheda CC Website with details of prize winners and much more. Also now online at the ICU tournament reports section is a report which has a series of videos and some reporting of the 2015 Drogheda congress.
The ICU Video Website has a growing number of videos of interest to Irish chess which will have more and more videos added to, and a facility to be added to allow ICU members only upload videos directly soon.
