The ICU online shop now has an extra item for sale in addition to subscriptions. Players who compete in foreign tournaments and who want their results rated in the ICU list have, in the past, had to send in their 10 fee by post. The treasurer would then take the check to the bank and notify the ratings officer. Excuse us while we yawn. Now, however, the fee can be paid online and the whole thing is over and done with in seconds.
A small amount of reorganisation accompanies the introduction of the new feature. On the left hand side, the page whose top-level link used to be Join has moved to the second level Join the ICU under ICU. It's replacement is Shop and this is where you now go to subscribe or pay a fee online. Also the left hand links are now ordered alphabetically. One final addition (if you login to the site) is a new link, My Stuff, under Shop which can be used to get a list of your online subscriptions and fees (as well as recent offline subscriptions).
You can already subscribe for 2008-09, just remember to choose the right season from the drop-down menu which, until the end of August, will have the current season, 2007-08, as it's default selection.
