The European Club Cup will take place in Saint-Vincent Vallee dAoste, Italy from 18th to 24th September. The two qualifying teams from the National Club Championship are the Phibsboro and Ennis Chess Clubs. The Phibsboro team (seeded 43rd out of 45) are FM Joseph Ryan, FM Stephen Brady, John Joyce, Richard O'Donovan, Kevin Butler, Thomas Brezing, Dave Salter, and Anthony Mooney. Ennis (45th) will be represented by Stephen Tomezack, Rory Quinn, Lorcan O'Toole, John Cassidy, Kieran O'Brien, John Knightson, Nick Larter, and Gerry Casey. IMs Brian Kelly and Sam Collins will also be playing, representing the English Barbican team. More details are on the official website.
