The Irish Chess Union

Swissperfect is the tournament control software favoured by Ireland's leading tournament controllers. The current rating system is fully compatible with Swissperfect and has allowed Ireland to have one of the few automated rating systems in the World (believe it or not!)

The Irish Chess Union has purchased 50 Swissperfect Licences for resale to Clubs and Individuals. This normally costs €50 but is now available to Irish Clubs and/or individuals for only €25.

Part of the deal included getting unlimited FREE swissperfect licences for use by Irish primary and secondary Schools. Details of this have already been sent to 4000 schools by ChessZ.

It is hoped that wider and cheaper availability of swissperfect will lead to the growth of more tournament controllers within Ireland.

PURCHASING A SWISSPERFECT LICENCE: To purchase one of the 50 licences from the ICU, please send a cheque for €25 (payable to The Irish Chess Union) to the ICU Secretary, John Alfred, Kerry Rd, Adare, Co Limerick along with your postal address and Club name or Personal name.

Swissperfect will then issue the ICU with a customer specific enabling code for your swissperfect version. A letter, containing a floppy disk with the software, and the code will be posted to you.
