With the separation of the UCU from the ICU, tournaments and leagues under UCU jurisdiction are no longer rated by the ICU.

If ICU registered players wish to have their games rated, the rules are the same as those for any other foreign event. The player intending to participate must inform the in advance of playing. The player(s) must then submit the results and ratings of opponents to the ICU Ratings Officer
