The World Youth Chess Championships are being held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates from 17th December to 29th December. We are now looking for expressions of interest from eligible Irish Juniors who wish to play in this competition. The highest rated boy and girl in each age category (U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18) can avail of free accommodation, September ratings will be used for this purpose. Interested Juniors should contact the of the selection committee by 4th October. Final selection will be made by the committee as soon as possible after 4th October. See also FIDE regulations.
