This 14 hour marathon in front of Kilkenny Town Hall last Saturday, was organised by Chess School Polimac. With the assistance of pupils Aravind Menon, Poornima Menon, John Courtney, Tourlough Kelly and Eion Minnock and support from Mayor Martin Brett, CLLR Joe Malone and Dr Garry Courtney, just over 1000 has been raised so far. The target is 3000 (further donations).
