Tom Collins (former LCU committee member) has sent in a picture of leaflet which he set himself (he worked in a typesetters) for chess lectures organised by him for the LCU in 1976. A small portion of the leaflet is shown to the right, the full image is here. To our older members, the names of the lecturers will all be instantly recognisable. For our younger members, you may not know that this site has short biographies of many famous Irish players from past and present, including three of the lecturers listed in the leaflet (W.Heidenfeld, E.Keogh, J.J.Walsh).
