52 additional tournaments were rated for the May list to bring the total so far for the 2008-09 season to 80. The 3rd and last list this season will be in September.

The number of players eligible to have their ratings published currently stands at 747. Of this total 637 players have full ratings, 98 have provisional ratings (less than 20 games in total) and 12 have no games yet and therefore no rating.

Of the 747, 11 are lifetime members which means 736 players have subscribed so far this season. Assuming there are not too many stragglers still intending to pay up for 2008-09 between now and August, that figure represents a decrease of about 8% on the 2007-08 season.
